This is a testament on how I found a place to live for three solid months without paying any bills, all while receiving the royal treatment during my stay.
You might remember that I spent some time in Ankara with Ariel, and then my hostel called me to inform me that I needed to pay $2,500. Yes, you read that right! So, I started thinking about who I could reach out to, and suddenly, Mr Levi popped into my mind. We had only met briefly, but I felt a sense of peace about asking him for help.
I told him I needed a place to stay for two weeks—just two weeks (which ended up turning into months). He immediately said no problem and asked when I would be coming over. Interestingly, Mr. Aaron also offered me a room at his place. He had a three-bedroom apartment all to himself, but somehow, I felt that God had chosen Mr. Levi for me. After all, He sees the end from the beginning!
Once I returned to Istanbul, I moved my things from the hostel to Mr. Levi’s house. It was also a three-bedroom apartment, but there were five men living there. God bless their souls! They welcomed me as their little sister. Mr. Levi even sacrificed his room and slept in the corridor. What a sacrifice!
No one ever asked me for anything. Instead, whenever they went out, they would bring something back for me. They woke me up with food, served me breakfast and dinner before they ate, and made sure my meals were always first. I truly felt like I had found a family. I did my best to contribute, bringing home essentials like water and bread whenever I could.
That’s how I ended up with free accommodation, meals, and a loving family—all without spending a dime. I even received clothes! Most of them were from the Aksaray business, and I got to know the exact cost of goods. Sometimes, when Mr Levi had extra items that didn’t fit him, I was lucky enough to have them to myself.
It was a royal experience that I’ll cherish forever!
